Water Plants

All of our water plants can be grown in large ponds, but most are selected for their suitability to small containers on a deck or patio.  They will flourish in full sun or partial shade.

Chinese Bowl Lotus -- imported from China, these are the newest types of miniture Lotus plants for table tops and small containers.  They grow in small containers in shallow water with minimal care.  Provide at least 6 hours of direct sun and fertilize regularly.

Floaters - Azolla, Lemna, Water Hyacinth, Frogbit, Parrot Feather, Water Lettuce

Marginals - Pennywort, Water Plantain, Variegated Water Clover, Water Chestnut,

Bamboo, Umbrella Palm, Butterfly Ginger, Horsetails, Variegated Mediterranean Reed
