We were involved in a number of special events last season. We will continue to be an active member of our community, check back to see what we're doing this year. 

Art in the Gardens --  at Summerland Gardens
Our Annual Art fair in the garden featuring the work of local artists.  Food, drink, music, plants and art! 

Hummingbird Festival --  at Startmore Discovery Center in Cheyenne Canon
We are proud to provide the plants for the annual plant sale during the Hummingbird festival at Starsmore Discovery Center in Cheyenne Canyon. All of plants are selected to attract hummingbirds to your yard while being drought tolerant and performing well in our climate.

We donate all proceeds from our plant sale to the Friends of Cheyenne Canon.  Last year we donated over $600.

aba Tina Plant Sale -  
Partnering with aba Tina gifts at 1718 S. 8th Street, we are excited to offer the 2nd Annual Plant sale.  Last years proceeds benefited Safe Passage.

Last year Summerland Gardens donated over $900 from the aba Tina plant sale to the Greg Mortenson's foundation to help build schools in Afganistan.  His work is featured in the book Three Cups of Tea.
